Posts of the Month

With April now upon us, I thought I’d take a look back at March’s top posts.  Here are the top five most popular posts of the month:

1.  Five Ways “Game of Thrones” is Changing Fantasy on TV

2.  Fantasy Cover Art of the Week: Graphic Design vs. Graphic WTF

3.  Five Ways that Star Wars Counts as High Art

4.  Meme Monday: I Don’t Want to Live on this Planet Anymore

5.  What’s the Beating Heart that Makes “Game of Thrones” so Compelling? Cripples, Bastards and Broken Things.

Of course, with Game of Thrones returning from hiatus, it’s clear where the focus has been over the past few weeks for fantasy readers and writers.

I feel that April is going to be the Month of Whedon for genre fans, with both Cabin in the Woods and The Avengers making their way to the public.  As a huge Whedon fan, I’m hoping that he finally gets the kind of over-the-top, unbelievable main stream success he deserves.

Thanks, John! That’s truly a compliment coming from you. I enjoyed your post over at Kirkus on George R. R. Martin’s pre-Westeros books. As a relatively new reader of Martin, I’ll definitely have to check those titles out. And of course, if any of my readers are not already daily readers of SFSignal.com, they should be!
